As mentioned earlier, my brother recently made some pretty sweet shirts. This is how I wore my very own shirt for the first time.

Disclaimer: The reason I look insanely tired is because I am. I’ve been working way too much lately. Too much work = not enough sleep = Becky’s squinty-eyed tired face.

Visit Washington

My brother Derek created an amazing Washington print recently. Visual:

We learn so much from it too. Washington State was established in 1889, it’s The Evergreen State, George Washington once drank coffee with Big Foot, etc. It’s like the best history lesson ever all in one compact print.

Hot off the press

Along with Oregon and Washington, Derek just created the postcard version of his Idaho print. (Check out his Etsy site here.)

Idaho: The Gem State. Featuring a pair of hat-wearing Idaho spuds roasting marshmallows on an undoubtedly awesome camping trip in an Idaho forest. Also noteworthy are the friendly Idaho black bear and owl.

Derek’s newest postcards are for sale on his Etsy site. These are 4×6 and are printed on 14pt C2S recycled card stock – in a nutshell, they’re really thick and durable. And you still have a few days left to get 10% off your orders in April! (Enter coupon code “April”.)

Washington is featuring: George Washington, Bigfoot, Mt. Rainier, a Willow Goldfinch, typical PNW attire, and of course coffee for all.

Oregon is featuring: A Portland-y beaver on the Portland waterfront, the Hawthorne Bridge, and a McMinnville UFO.

Derek has another print for sale! He’ll design Oregon next, then maybe Idaho, then if we’re lucky he’ll do all the states and make a full postcard set available for us to buy. My fingers are crossed. (Click here to check out this 11″ x 17″ print on Etsy.)

Featuring Bigfoot, George Washington, Mt. Rainier, and the official Washington State bird, the Willow Goldfinch.

P.S. After months of subtle hints, Derek has finally agreed to design our Save the Date cards and Invitations. I might be more excited about that then anything else to do with the wedding.
