Remember Steve’s cousin Megan from last week’s post? In addition to the two dresses I made her, she also recently asked me to make her a capelet. At this very moment she should be wearing it among the fall foliage in New York City, but the good ol’ USPS screwed up the “guaranteed 12pm delivery time” by delivering it at 4:00pm…right about the time Megan was halfway to NYC. It’s not surprising that it got messed up considering the first Post Office I went to here in Vancouver, WA doesn’t have the ability to overnight a package (It’s in a Hallmark store. Silly me for expecting otherwise.), and at the second one I was behind a woman shipping a box marked “parole clothes”.  Why isn’t there a reality t.v. show set here?
