The direction I got for this set of burp cloths is that the mom is a teacher who isn’t into the standard pastel baby colors. I’d say I pretty much nailed it. amIrightoramIright?

Need a cheap and cheerful new baby gift? Well you’re in luck my friends. I just put up a few sets of “Holy Spit!” burp cloths on Etsy. Clever, eh?
Each measures 9″ x 18″. Check them all out here.
I found out last week that a former co-worker of mine is going to have a baby boy, so I made this set of burp cloths to ship off to her.
These might be my favorite burp cloths to date. They’re for baby girl Penelope, whose new room will be decorated in green and yellow. While these burp cloths aren’t made in the typical pastel green and yellow usually given for baby gifts, I love the playful brightness of them. Plus the name Penelope is just about the sweetest name I’ve heard in a while.
Each set of 4 burp cloths is $30. If you want a personalized set for yourself or to give as a gift, shoot me an email: ohreallybecky@gmail.com.
For this order of burp cloths, the direction I was given about the parents-to-be was that “the Dad loves to fish, the mom is very girly”. I wandered around the fabric store for a bit, dug around in my bins of fabric, and decided to combine the themes to make some retro floral fishing burp cloths. It totally works, right?
Friends of ours had a baby girl last week, so I bought her the cutest little polka dot outfit from Nordstrom and made burp cloths to match.
The front of the burp cloths are actually made from a vintage blanket and the back of them are cotton terry cloth – all 100% cotton. So the new parents can machine wash and machine dry them. Yes, that’s right. They’re vintage and durable.
